By 2025 machines will perform more work tasks than humans, according to the World Economic Forum Future of Jobs Report. This prediction has worried workers and employers. The good news is that organizations are thinking about the social implications of this man/machine shift and considering their options.
Deloitte’s 2019 Global Human Capital Trends report, “Leading the social enterprise: Reinvent with a human focus” reflects polling results of nearly 10,000 respondents in 119 countries. Amongst its findings, CEOs were asked to rate their most important measure of success in 2019. The No. 1 issue they cited was “impact on society, including income inequality, diversity and the environment”.
