Due to the ongoing concern and escalation around the COVID-19 situation and to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees we have made the decision to cancel the live version of our 2020 Inclusive Diversity Conference. We will be hosting this as a virtual-only event, please see below for more information. 

Conference Attendee FAQ's

What are my options for rescheduling my conference seat?

Paid attendees of the conference will receive a full credit equal to the purchase price paid. This credit can be used for the virtual version of this event, next year's live version, or any HCI product for up to 12 months.

What steps do I take to reschedule or receive a credit? 

Once you decide if you prefer to receive a credit to your HCI account, to attend the conference virtually, or to reschedule to another product immediately, contact support@hci.org with the following information:

  • Attendee Name
  • Attendee Email Address
  • Date and location of rescheduled product OR 'credit on file' request 

[The cost to attend the conference virtually is $795. If you reschedule for this option you will receive a credit for the difference between your original price paid and the cost of the virtual event.]

When and where will the rescheduled conference take place?

We will be hosting this event as a virtual-only offering, during the regular conference dates. We will be sending a follow-up communication with details on how to attend virtually. 

Will my hotel reservation be refunded?

All attendees of the conference are responsible for canceling their own travel arrangements.The Hyatt is proactively canceling hotel reservations, we advise attendees to contact the Hyatt Regency at 415-788-1234 to confirm your reservation is canceled. 

What are my options for transferring this sponsorship?

HCI will work with you to find other sponsorship opportunities that meet your needs. Given the current environment and uncertainty around live events, one of our digital products may be a better fit. Contact seth.agatstein@hci.org  or barry.upbin@hci.org for more information. 

How do I cancel exhibitor orders I have with the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Hotel?

Will my hotel reservation be refunded?

What if I have already shipped my items to the hotel?

Speaker Attendee FAQ's

Is there a way for me to still participate in the event?

Yes! We would love the opportunity to live stream your session and share it with our attendees as part of our virtual conference. We are still working out those details - in the meantime contact shane.york@hci.org with questions. 

Will HCI handle my travel cancellations?

All flight and hotel room reservations made by HCI will be canceled by HCI. Speakers are responsible for canceling any reservations made on their own.
