- Individual contributors, often on the frontline of organizational change, exhibit the highest levels of anxiety (34%) and the lowest openness to change.
This vertical divide illustrates a critical issue: while leadership is better equipped to navigate change, the broader workforce often struggles, creating bottlenecks in organizational agility.
The Role of Resilience in Change Readiness
Resilience is key to bridging this gap. meQuilibrium’s report identifies five essential skills that enhance change readiness:

- Stress management
- A sense of purpose

To close the change readiness gap, HR professionals must implement targeted strategies:

- Invest in resilience training: Focus on programs that build the emotional and mental skills necessary for managing change.
- Support managers at the core: Equip managers with tools and training to handle psychosocial risks and high workload demands.
