Designing for Diversity: Let the Data Lead You and the Science Steer You

General Session

Diversity and inclusion has always been the right thing to practice, yet industries continue to struggle to see progress relative to effort. Practitioners must think differently and begin using the data and research that is already at their fingertips in order to determine where to focus their efforts, and leverage quality research to design unexpected interventions. Journey with me as we discuss how to look sideways at the current processes and data, and explore unconventional social science research that can be applied to organizations.

You will learn:

- How to begin viewing current data and processes through a D&I perspective

- How to integrate quality social science into organizational strategies

- Strategies that have previously been implemented with success, including the integration and normalization of Diversity Data for people processes and the implementation of social science in recruitment and outcomes.
