Improving the Interview Loop to Optimize the Candidate Experience

Endless interviews and disorganized recruitment teams lead to “interview fatigue” that negatively affects candidate performance. In the following clip, Therasa Cha from TASER International shares about her experience transforming Amazon’s hiring process by tightening up the interview loop, reducing drop-out rate and improving offer/accept ratio in the process.
- Hire “owners” instead of “renters”—people who will come in and make the company a better place, not those who are just passing through.
- Create standardized templates for a streamlined way for recruiters to reach out and connect with applicants.
- Offer extras to relocating prospects, e.g. realtor appointments, gift baskets, and/or “relocation packages” containing information about the area.
