To say that the year 2017 in Talent Acquisition was a whirlwind would be a massive understatement. This past year saw many historic events for our industry – some better than others, depending on who you’re talking to. The U.S. unemployment level hit 4.1%, the lowest rate since December 2000. As the majority of the workforce was employed, many employers became more fexible, ofering employees additional perks like working remotely. We saw an increase in work-shifting and folks grabbing onto the opportunities ofered via the gig economy. We’ll look at the biggest trends that made an impact on 2017, challenges faced this past year, and key learnings as we head into a powerful 2018.
