2:35pm-3:10pm EDT Good Recruiting IS Diverse Recruiting: Inclusive Recruiting Strategies for Any Organization

General Session

Today’s job market has shifted significantly to favor the candidates due to the pandemic and increased demand for talent, therefore traditional recruiting channels alone are no longer enough to attract a diverse slate of candidates.

Through research and statistics, we understand that diversity creates a workplace population with representation that is similar to the markets in which it operates, it demands that the workplace is safe and inclusive for all individuals and organizations, and it develops a collective behavior that encourages all individuals and employees to best use their talent.  Therefore, capitalizing on a diverse workforce enhances the organization’s competitive position in the marketplace.
In this session, Angeline Washington will address the meaning of good recruiting is diverse recruiting and share inclusive recruiting strategies and considerations that any organization can utilize to develop a more diverse workforce.

In this session, you will learn:

  • What good recruiting is compared to traditional recruiting models
  • Inclusive recruiting strategies that can be applicable in any type of organization
  • Why inclusive recruiting doesn’t stop when a candidate is hired
  • Ways to keep your diverse workforce from leaving as quickly as they are hired
