As HR professionals we are in search for utopia. What is that utopia? Being able to hire talent that will automatically align to our values, total rewards, career development framework, mobility, recognition awards, health and well-being programs. That’s not reality, and it never will be. With primarily four generations in the workforce it’s becoming increasingly difficult to hire the best talent that wants to make a career at an organization verses a job. Beyond simply identifying we can’t be everything to talent, we need to continuously look for ways to align company values to talent values to drive careers.
