Although companies are quickly embracing skills, developing a strategy and investing in the right technology is no small task. This study found that 1 in 2 companies are just getting started with skills and many of these companies believe it will take several years to develop the right approach. Companies often feel confused about how to assess skills, build a skills ontology, and find the right partner. This report based on data collected in December 2022 and January 2023 will explore the challenges, strategies, and technology enablers for a skills-based approach.
