11:45am-12:20pm EDT How to Create a More Human Recruiting Process in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
People and their expertise are the most valuable part of every organization. Yet the digitization of the recruiting process has begun to make the process less human. With the recent rise in applications of artificial intelligence and the likelihood it will be implemented in recruiting, it has never been more important for recruiters to be able to do what they do best: find, discern, build, and nurture relationships with people from all over the world.
With the introduction of any new technology, the natural impulse is to look for opportunities to leverage that new technology to increase productivity and/or profitability. When organizations do this with a singular focus on improving or decreasing the existing process, though they may achieve their efficiency goals in the short term, longer-term opportunities to leverage a new technology to improve the recruiting process altogether could be missed.
This session builds on Brian Evergreen’s new book, Autonomous Transformation, a Next Big Idea Club “Must-Read” shortlisted for the Thinkers50 2023 Breakthrough Idea Award. This session explores how recruiters and leaders in recruiting can create a more human recruiting experience in the era of artificial intelligence.
