Full representation and the Path Forward
In January 2015 Intel set a lofty goal to reach full representation of women and underrepresented minorities in the company’s U.S. workforce by 2020 as well as to progress the state of D&I across the technology industry as a whole. Fast forward to Oct. 2018 when Intel announced that the company reached its goal of full representation in its U.S. workforce- two years ahead of schedule. The company’s workforce now reflects the percent of women and underrepresented minorities available in the U.S. skilled labor market. In this session, Dawn will discuss the critical components of the company’s comprehensive strategy, including hiring, retention and progression, and how the company plans to continue to fine tune its program.
