Manager effectiveness is essential to an organization’s success.  It is important that people leaders understand the importance of coaching, recognizing and developing their employees.  However, for many managers these three areas do not come naturally and can lead to employee dissatisfaction, poor performance and higher turnover rates.

It is critical for us as Human Resources professionals to be equipped to guide, teach and empower managers to be effective.  This will lead to better business results, because employees who are managed well are more engaged, produce quality work and want to stay with their employer.
