Danyelle “DC” Wright leads Scripps’ enterprisewide diversity and inclusion strategies. She works closely with the company’s human resources leadership to bring these strategies to life and provides guidance to senior leaders, leveraging her 25 years of labor and employment expertise. Before joining Scripps, DC served as partner with a Dayton, Ohio-based law firm. She is a member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Leadership Cincinnati Class 41, WE Lead Class 11 and serves on the boards of The Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub, the Dayton Art Institute and Sinclair Community College.

DC is a self-described first-generation Ivy league university and law school graduate, social justice warrior, community service advocate, trained extrovert, who could talk forever about family (the one you’re born into and the one you create along the way), and lover of reading, travel, and shopping.

DC resides in Dayton, Ohio with her husband, children, and fur babies.
