Dr. Amador is a licensed health care services administrator with over 20 years of administrative experience in health services and specialized in special populations. She obtained a doctoral degree in public health, specialized in health system analysis and management, from the Graduate School of Public Health of the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, where she also obtained a master’s degree in health services administration. Since March 2013, Dr. Amador has been the chief executive officer at SIM, where she has obtained multiple recognitions and federal funding and successfully transformed SIM into a $70 million corporation. She also has received many humanitarian and prestigious awards in the health services administration industry.

She is the elected president of the Puerto Rico Primary Care Association.
