Hannah Glaspell, MPH, CIT, GSP, is the EHS Training Editor and a subject matter expert for BLR’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) content team. Hannah coordinates the development and maintenance of all EHS training content for the BLR websites and other training products to help businesses comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT rules. Hannah also covers safety topics such as bloodborne pathogens, personal protective equipment (PPE), safety culture, laboratory safety, toxic & hazardous substances, and training. Before joining BLR in July 2022, Hannah supported research safety programs at Cornell University as a Biosafety Specialist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Environmental and Occupational Health from Oregon State University. Hannah is also a Certified Instructional Trainer and Graduate Safety Practitioner, both granted by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
