Julie is the learning and development manager for Convene, where she collaborates with internal subject-matter experts to bring information and knowledge to life in order to drive key business results. Her operations background helps her to make new concepts relatable and immediately applicable.

Julie has freelanced as a stage manager and worked at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum—a decommissioned aircraft carrier—and for a high-growth hospitality start-up. The through line of her career has been partnering with visionaries to mediate between their vision and the given. The result is creating something from nothing; be it a world premiere of a new play, original programming at a museum or company culture from scratch.

Julie graduated magna cum laude and with a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College where she majored in drama with a focus in stage management.

While not working, Julie and her husband Mike enjoy traveling, exploring New York City and spending time with their rescue dog, Lenny.
