White Paper - The New People Function in the Age of Data
Optimize Your Talent Strategy
Can data improve a people function? Bertrand Dussert, Vice President of HCM Transformation at Oracle, explores the evolution of the use of data from a historical perspective and shares case studies and examples of ways companies today have leveraged data to achieve business outcomes. Dussert contends that technology is no longer the barrier to accessing, integrating and using data. The technology exists. Rather, the primary obstacles are organizational in nature—siloed departments, lack of analytical skills and skepticism. Ironically, this means we have moved beyond the need to use data to make a case for using data. Organizations that are winning are using data not only to improve products and services, but also to drive up the intangible value of the business.
